Canada's cross-disability magazine, is an e-zine that includes articles, links to
resources, and a special focus on entrepreneurs with disabilities, and contributions from

Fred's Head
How Does A Blind Person Clip a Poodle? How does a blind person do anything? Down
through the ages blind people have identified techniques and tips for accomplishing tasks.
The Printing House for the Blind has launched Fred's Head, named for the ever-resourceful
Fred Gissoni (whose head has always been filled with tips and techniques), a database of

Idiot-Proof Listserve
This list has gotten good reviews. Subscribers can post hardware and software
questions and receive answers that are not too technical for the average user. To

W3C Accessibility Guidelines
The World Wide Web Consortium
released the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0" specification as a W3C
Recommendation on Wednesday, the 5th of March. As a W3C Recommendation, the specification
is stable, contributes to the universality of the Web, and has been reviewed by the W3C
Membership who recommend it as the means for making Web sites accessible.
